Purple Tail

Whenever I take the top of a hide off and my leo is under it, her tail is semi-purple. But if I wait about 10-15 seconds it goes pale and white. I just thought this was interesting, has anyone else seen anything like that?

Not with leo's but it kind of makes seance. Pix would be great.

Is it a patternless? It could change temps or somthing and mood.

Yeah, it does sound like a patternless or a blizzard too. Both are known to vary in color depending on mood like Paul said.

The Patty Male I had, his tale would do that often...usuallu if he was a little cooler.

My female patty does change color with mood. She also goes darker a day or two before she sheds.

I've seen that with pattys and blizzards.. it's most likely temp and mood.. totally normal.. no matter what morph.. they all are like mood rings.
