Just kidding but got your attention, names Tyler I'm 21 I had 2 leopard geckos that I gave to my cousin when I was going off in the army but I'm back and with a crested gecko this time. His name is Thor he's still a baby, I also have my baby girl kalua who's a ball python but this isn't the right forums for her haha. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1406163344.170097.jpg

Haha definitely got my attention! Welcome aboard! That's a cute crestie and looks like a great setup for Thor. How long have you had him?

Maybe 2 months so not long. But I have the tendency to want something and learn everything I can in the process of getting it. Not saying I know it all by any means haha. He's in a 18x18x24 exo terra with 2 live plants, Spanish moss, and a misting system I can't remember the brand off the top of my head. Seems to be enjoying it greatly. He seems to like to hang on the hoses for some reason. Maybe the cool water inside it? But he's active to say the least. I want to get a female and breed them when they're of age and weight and start selling babies just for the fun of it. Probably won't make much of a profit if any at all

Welcome! Your setup looks great! I think he likes the hoses because they are up high. I have my cresties in the same type of terrarium, and I screwed some hooks into the screen top to hang vines from. Mine spend a lot of time up there too.

Also, fyi, your food dish is HUGE! They really don't eat that much, and if you're replacing that every couple days I imagine you're going through a TON of food. You just need something the size of a juice/milk jug lid. It will save you some money too. ;)

Thank you! And I know it was one I had laying around from my leopards I had but I ordered the magnetic rock with a small food dish in it. Post a picture of your cage I would like to possibly steal the idea of the vines on top I have Spanish moss maybe I will create a little hammock out of it

Here are some photos from a while back. The first link is old enclosure. I don't use the screen cage anymore and I planted the glass one. The second is my other terrarium when I first planted it. It looks much different now that it's grown out, but you get the idea.
