I aquired a small piece of this plant a few years ago from a family member , he called it Queen Of The Night. It grew from one piece into this tall vinelike plant with big leaves. I was told that it could get these big blossoms, and it would bloom at about 10 P.M. if the conditions were right Then a few weeks ago..they started to form..daily they grew...alot! Then today I could tell that one was about to bloom..and tonight when I walked out onto the patio the first thing that hit me was the strong fragrance....and then this!

Thanks everyone, I was happy to share it with everyone.Too bad they only bloom one night...gee if you went to bed early you might miss it and not see it again for years!

I have a H-U-G-E red-orange ne that bloms in the early spring. Just about eveyone I know made their own plants from cuttings from it. They are spectacular bloomers!
