Okay, so lately I have been thinking about the quality of food my geckos have been eating and it is scaring me. I do not gutload my feeders. (I haven't had the geckos long) and right now I do not have the money to buy Pro geckos gutload. Nor can I find anything for Crickets where I live.

So my question is, is there a mixture of easy household things that I can put together to make a good healthy gutload? If so can you please fill me in!

Dried and fresh fruits/veggies, low sugar breakfast cereal, oats, nuts & seeds and debatably high quality dog/cat food. Its best to mix several ingredients together for maximum nutrition.

Something Like

Dry Milk 1/4c
Baby Cereal 1/2c
Oat Meal 1/2c
Wheat Bran 1/2c
Dog/Cat Food 1/2c
Low Suger 12 grain Cereal 1C
Unsalted Nuts/Seeds 1/2c

Blend/Grind in a Blender until it is fine.

Bake all of it in the oven at 250 or 300 for 30 minutes to kill off any grain mites.

Put some out for your crickets.

And put the rest in the Frig.

Dried fruits ... can be blended too.

Fresh fruits/veggies ... just drop them in and the crickets will eat them for moisture and nutrients.

You can also check on the internet for other mixes.

Exact Measurements

I estimated the Measurements.

You want the Cereal, the Oats, the Bran, the dog/cat food and the powdered milk.

The rest is other stuff.

There is no hard and fast rule.
