Question About Golden Gate Gecko Slurry

Howdy folks, so I'm dealing with a gecko that has a pretty bad parasite infection(I have consulted a vet), and is currently off feed, and just really needs some sort of nutrients in the interim between treatment and recovery. So, my question is, would it be possible to make the GGG slurry using Dubia Roaches? I don't have ready access to any other types of feeder, as I don't in anyway trust my local pet stores, and I would really like to get him started on something this weekend, and seeing as I have a fresh order of Dubia Roaches, this would be preferable. I apologize if this sounds like a question with an obvious answer, but I'd hate for there to be some reason why I shouldn't have used them that I wouldn't find out until after the fact.

Thanks,
Gabe

I think the exoskeletons on the roaches would pose more of an issue than those of mealworms if you were to use it with a syringe. I think it could be done but I might dispatch them quickly by crushing their heads or something and squeezing their guts into the mix rather than the entire roach. Possibly the entire abdomen but I would exclude the legs and carapace. A bit on the gross side but I think that might be the best bet.
