Question about humide hide...

Hi guys, i need some information about humid hides.

What's the main purpose of it?

I read that taperware are good for them and that moss is a good choice too.
but i don't know how to make it. i have to put it under water? how often do i need to change it? any other kind of hides? etc.

It gives them the humidity to assist shedding. Get a plastic container and cut a hole in the top. put a damp papertowel in the container or anything else that you want and thats it. Hope this helps

I read that humidity hides can reduce dehydration too. I cut a hole in the side of my plastic box and put in some damp sphagnum moss. I mist the moss every three to four days to keep it moist. Check the hide's substrate regularly for signs of mold.
