Question about newcomer

I got Prince Abu yesterday. I asked the breeder what he was raised on so I didnt change his diet. So I went got mealworms as the breeder said. I put three in just to start so i can keep an eye on how many he eats. So far, hes eaten one. Is this normal?:main_huh: I raised my last gecko on crickets so im really biased on worms.

Its normal. Lets pretend you just moved, it takes you a while to settle in, right? Your not really used to your surroundings. The same thing is happening to your gecko, hes scared, he doesnt know whats going on. So give him a few eeks and he'll open up to you and eat normally.

like ez2animate it might take him some time to settle in but you shouldn't worry about changing their diet. Leo's should really eat a varied diet of different feeders each day but in captivity it isn't all that easy because feeding one feeder is convenient and cheaper.
