i picked up a gargoyle today that i thought was female. when i got it home i was looking at it and saw it has those 2 white bumps at both sides of the base of the tail the size of a pin or so. like the crestie males that i have. what exactly are those? i tried to take a pic but cant get a clear close up of it. the little bumps go off to the sides if your looking from underneath it. looks like it is about a year old but the hemipenal bulge doesnt look like a males. i know there are a few scattered preanal pores but i didnt see any on it..does anyone have pics of a garg male from underneath that is around a year or so old that i could compare mine to? thanks for your help..

The 2 white bumps are spurs but that doesnt tell if it is male or female.
Gargoyle females can have bulges too, they also have more rows of pores than cresteds, usually 4 to 5 rows. If they are scattered then you probably have a female.
