Up until this point, I have always requested pickup anytime I wanted to sell something. But I now I'd like to learn how to sell online. I've learned how to ship, and now I feel confident in my ability to ship an animal safely.

My question is, how do you get paid online? Do you use paypal? I thought paypal takes a percentage of the money when you get paid...

I know this might seem like a stupid question, but I'm honestly clueless about how hobbyist get paid for their stock when they sell online, or even how to pay someone at all for their animals if I were to buy from them.

Thanks in advance.

Yep use paypal. Or other programs to run credit cards. But you can't get those programs unless a proven history is given. Paypal does take 3% i do believe but it's such a small portion depending upon the amount of sales you do.

I take paypal or money orders. Paypal is the easiest. Yes, they do take fees, but some credit card machines take fees from the store owners, too. Many places won't take credit cards unless your purchase is over $10-$20. So I don't see it as being any different.
