Ok, perviously a baby hatched to early(a week) and shes now out but her sister who decided she wanted to hatch today. Im confused. Her egg deflated and then she made no attempt to get out? Its been a bit and still no attempt or movement. Im almost possive she's dead. Is this normal? For the eggs to deflate like that? These 2 are early, like i mentioned, i havent had any issues with eggs at the proper time. I'm tempted to push her out and see if she is dead. But my question is do they normally deflat and then make no attempt to get out for hours?

Please note I have close to zero experience in this; but I read somewhere that it is possible for the egg to start deflating a few days before the baby hatch. Good luck!

Thank you for the info. I will give her a bit before doing anything. Generally tho when they deflat shoudlnt they hatch right then? Or do they wait a short time? Id imagine that they'd drown being in there to long?.. Im really dreding this, even tho there not my first><

Well i waited a good few hours(i'm not sure how long before i noticed it) but i waited 3 hours before messing with it. Pulled it out and she's dead. I dunno if its coz she cracked it wrong(her head was in the opposite direction) or if its coz she was early too but she's dead... We got a nice little "caskit" for her to stay in till the snow thaws and the ground is dig-able. She is a good bit bigger then the pervious premi. I dunno why they hatched "earlier" then they should have(it was 7 weeks) but they did. Hopefully the others from that female dont do this. Poor thing.

Mother natures evil! Poor baby. What a way to go, suffication...I wonder tho. How often are first timer's eggs good? Could it have been they were weaker then normal babies because of that? She didnt carry them long. The other babies ive hatched out have been from a proven female and male, these two were first timers...Could that maybe why? Plus there may have been engimas...=[ Not what i was hoping for waiting so long to hatch them out...
