Is there a certain point when females won't take anymore? I put my male in with my female today to see if they'd lock up and the female started flicking her tail like a male would. The male pretty much pounced on her and she bit him back (don't worry i seperated them immediately!) I was just wondering if there's a certain point into being gravid that females will refuse to breed...
thanks a lot!

No it's not cuz they were fighting it wasn't the familiar male nipping on the females body while she sits there...... does anyone know if she's gravid long enough will she stop taking?

This has happened to many of mine. She's probably gravid and doesn't want to breed anymore.

I have a female sunglow that rips into the male every time, its normal for either gecko to have bite wounds from breeding. Sometimes the female doesnt want it so she will try to fight the male off

Like Steve said she's probably gravid and isn't in the mood. I try to re-introduce a male two days after every fourth clutch. I give the extra two days so the female has a chance to recoop from laying and put on a few grams.
