What is it that makes a Crested that is a Harley, to an Extreme Harley?

Extreme harley's have way more patterns than harleys. You can see on kingsnake a lot of times people misrepresenting harleys as extremes.
I'll see if I can find some pictures for examples.

These two you can consider a harley, good amount of patterns on the sides and legs

And these two would be extreme harleys. You can notice how much more patterns they have than the other two.
