my gecko has been ready to shed now for a day and a half but she doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. She has been sick lately and really won't move. She always seems so tired and can it be that she is just too tired to try to remove the skin? I saw that people have been doing baths for their leos with shedding with toes but this is her whole body! I misted her, her cage, and her moist hide and nothing seems to be working. I've even put in a log to give more places for her to rub up against but she just lays there. (She has MBD and I have been treating her for the last ten days) The other thing is she already shedded about 2 and a half weeks ago and this is early for her.

hmm... i would contact a vet if i were you...
you should keep misting her, as this usually helps.

Shedding and calcium metabolism are controlled by the parathyroid gland, so calcium deficiencies may go hand-in-hand with shed issues.

Can you tell us how she is being treated for MBD? Does she have a moist hide? If so, then maybe you should try putting it on the warm side of her enclosure to create more of a steam bath.

she is getting liquid calcium and I had to feed her a special food for awhile but she is slowly eating on her own. She does have a moist hide that is on the warm side and I always make sure it is moist.
