my Mack snow(biannca) is about to lay her eggs anytime now..if she lays her eggs in the lay box how long can they stay in there before extracting them to the incubator?

females will usually lay fertile eggs where the temp and humidity are just right for incubation. i've actually heard of people not finding eggs and then one day some babies crawl out of the moist hide. honestly there's really no set time. i try and remove my eggs as soon as possible and get them in the incubator. less chance of them getting broken while the girl is digging around.

well i was just wondering cause i dont have vermiculite and i wont beable to get it untill after work tomorrow so i was just wondering how long they can the eggs stay in the lay box

As long as it's not miracle growth perlite. Most stores dont sell perlite without the chemicals so take a look at the bag and see if it doesn't say miracle growth.
