Questions about feeding a leo Giant Mealworms

Our leo is almost a year old and is a healthy 9.5 inches long. He gets crickets, mealworms, and an occasional waxworm.

Is it OK to feed him giant mealworms? My concerns would be whether it is too much chitin, and whether folks here think it's a bad idea with whatever they treat these mealworms with to keep them from pupating.

Also, what about feeding the leo a newly emerged mealworm beetle that is still orange (not completely hardened? Thanks!!

If you get him some superworms, you won't have them pupating like meals do. Takes less to feed and they dont have the hormone additive, or whatever is used, to make them giants.

I am feeding my adults superworms and I am feeding my babies that are only 12g. right now giant mealworms. They are eating them like champs.
