questions about my females

hi! so i have 2 questions for you guys.

first of my first female is 1.5 years old got her mating with 1 of my males over a month ago. i wasnt expecting much from her first clutch which were infertile, but yesterday she layed another egg out of her lay box and that one was infertile too. im thinking that since shes a first year breeder its possible to have the first clutch"es" infertile... so ill make sure she eats well and try to reintroduce the same male to her.. or should i try another male to make sure the first male is not infretile???

2nd.. i have another female i bought maybe 2 months ago from a breeder and i was told she wasnt breed, the day i bought her she laid 2 infertile eggs, so i decided to pick her up and faten her up so shes good for next year. now maybe month or so that shes in my place... found another egg in her tub... is that a sign that she was breed? or just from all the males and females breeding in near-by tubs makes her think shes pregnant or something???

Don't give up all my females laid atleast one fertile the first time. And the say a female can lay eggs without being breed though I have never experienced this.

ok thats what im thinking too, got another egg from the first female tonight.. im happy that she actually laid that one in her lay box, well see how it turn out
