Questions on how to care for panther geckos

Hey everyone! I'm new here and have questions about panther geckos. I recently moved my beardie from a 20 gallon tank to a 55 gallon tank. Now I have an unused tank and would like to put a gecko in it. I have never own a gecko before so I'm new to them. I decided to go with a panther gecko because they are small and easy to care for. I didn't want anything that will out grow the 20 gallon tank. I try to do some research online but there isn't much info on them. I know they live on temperate forests, nocturnal animals, and need about 30%-50% humidity and a moist retreat. What kind of heating and lighting do they need? What bulbs would be best for them? And what kind of substrate should I use?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I keep mine on coco soil or a 50/50 sand and soil. Helps keep the humidity high enough, as I've noticed my friends who keep theirs on sand with only a moist hide have always had thinner geckos that don't seem to thrive the same way.

Nocturnal geckos don't require special lighting, Iv'e always just used a red heat bulb for mine.

GL with your Panther! They are great little geckos.
