quick question about shiping mealworms

i just sold some and i want to get them shipped later this morning, they are being shipping usps priority mail. do i need to put holes in the box? or are the worms doing to get enough air from the holes in their container?

Depends where you are shipping too. The holes help to reduce the heat the mealworms make themselves. They will have plenty of air inside the box.

I get 10,000 shipped at a time and when the shipper has 110 degree weather the box comes with holes and a cool pack. When the weather is under 90... no holes and heat pack if subzero.

Last time I got worms (and I'm getting more in about 2 days) they had holes and cool packs. The worms themselves were in a linen bag with newspaper to crawl around on.

thanks for the help! the worms are being shipped from ohio to florida. im going to put a couple holes and a cool pack just to be on the safe side
