Quick question on heat tape

Just wondering if its ok to cut it in half. Like a foot peice into 6 inchs? If i avoid cutting the black bars? Thanks

u can cut it to any lenght.but 6 " seems real impractical.Why 6" ?

LOL not 6 inchs but 30" i just didnt wanna get into a ton of details

30" would work.just make sure u cut on the clear part.And make sure u use electrical tape on the opposite end to where your connections are
