Ok quick question what is the difference between

Repti carpet and compressed Nylon felt (basically plastic)

I know they say repti carpet in supposed to be all natural, but all natural what?

They have felt thats made out of wool and also plastic (Nylon) or (Polypropylene) 10 dollars will get you 3 yards of compressed felt.

The pet stores have repti carpet like 12 inches by 12 inches for like 10 dollars thats insanely high price.

Paper towels are great but extremely ugly.

How can you have a habitat thats easy to clean, healthy, inexpensive, and awesome to look at all at the same time?

Tile is a great idea! How much more easy to clean is that! Maybe a nice tumbled stone tile. Wow thats a great idea, light buld just came on! lol

Only one question how do you use your UTH then? Will the heat go thru tank glass and tile or does it have to be under the tile itself?

Tile is easy really easy to clean . But if you get tile make sure its not thicker than 1/4 inch so it lets enough heat through from the UTH. The best tile is ceramic tile and you UTH still goes on the outside . It works great for me:main_thumbsup:

I used slate tiles for awhile, worked darn well, except on some young they seemed to adapt a darker hue.. Never tried ceramic *shrugs*..
I went back to paper towels :)
