I came into my room and looked in and saw my little 5-6 month old(maybe) boy licking at himself... On closer look i noticed his was licking this little red bulge that was popping out under his tail. I kind of paniced and ran to my laptop with out thinking it through to much, but just to make sure, this is just his penis right? I just checked in on him again and the little package is no longer visible but you can see where the slit in his body was open. Should I be alarmed lol?

I wouldnt be lol..

Oh and do you still have him in with the female? If so, he may have just mated with her. Neo does that right after breeding with bella

Well I kind of wondered that too. She is much bigger than him and her tail is getting plumper every day = ).
I'd say two hours earlier in the the night I was in my room and saw her laying on top of the little stone hut. I came in there few hours later and there she was again, I picked her up and gazed at her tail haha, then i put her down. I then took a quick shower so maybe 5 minutes later I come back in and she is still there and the little guy is at the base of the hut going at himself. I also examined her a little bit and didn't notice any breeding marks.

She also didn't eat a few minutes ago when I offered her food and I found them at total opposite sides of the tank. Are these curious signs?

it could be....stay in the room the next time its not a long drwn out affair so you should beable to witness the event. plus I never saw any marks on my Bonnie after all the nibbling so thats not always useful.. Is your female ovulating??? If so then I would say 99% sure they mated.

I do not know how to tell if she is ovulating, sorry :x.

He keeps fussing with her lmao. Last night I was laying down and hear all this ruckus and look up and they are in the cool corner and he is nibbling at her tail and she was actually letting him do it. This went on for about 60 seconds and then he tries to mount her.. backwards.. I don't think she was impressed because that only lasted 15 seconds or so and she whipped him off with her long ole tail and he had to go back into the corner to "calm" "himself" down again hahaha

Hard to say.. But I bet they where at it though.. Which im not 100% sure that would be a good thing going by how they looked when you got them. (Not trying to be one of them pesty people saying everything you do is wrong lol) But I take it shes fattened up allot? (Wasn't she the one everyone kept saying she was 100% gonna pass away because she was so skinny?) I didnt think she would pass away lol.. She just needed some tlc. But id watch for eggs in her belly and make sure she has a humid hide with moist coco fiber in it for laying eggs in :). Are you planning of keeping the eggs and incubate them when there laid?
Im getting my incubator ready soon for my female. Espically since im getting my 2nd female tomorrow(fed ex :D) im gonna have my setup ready to go for the upcoming months. I just paired up neo and bella. Havnt been quiet so lucky to witness anything so I have no idea weather they've mated or not. But I did see him shaking his tail and nipping her tail the other night. (fingers crossed for eggs soon! haha)

And its very easy to tell is shes ovulating :). Just pick her up and bend her back very gently and look at her belly. If you see 2 white ovals(one on the top left, one on the lower bottom) then those are eggs and she is ovulating. A good you could pick up is The Herpetoculture Of Leopard Geckos by Ron Tremper is a great book. I just got my 2nd copy today(to replace my first one I dont have anymore lol) It tells you all about rack systems. setups. breeding. incubating. all that. :)

Still looks on the thin side but are deff looking better :). Im actually getting a new incubator I think. But the one I used last year(worked great) I got from tractor supply for 40 bucks. Its basically just like the hova bator :). Im looking to get the MR-148 though when I get my income taxes back

But the one from tractor supply would be great for you. Cheaper. And you only have one female.

Im hoping your female wont have any problems with her being under weight probably longer then she should have. The eggs may lack calcium though :/. Not sure

If your incubator still works I'd buy it off you... I have been giving calcium supplements.
Yeah I don't think she looks completely healthy but her body has just changed so much! Her head used to look massive compared to the rest of her body but now it looks more proportional and her tail is getting thicker everyday.
