Quick temperament question.

If a Leo lays eggs, are they protective of the eggs/young?

That really doesn't answer my question..... Was just curious, do they abandon the eggs or do they keep watch? Be it from a distance or every now and then.

Mine have never been protective of their eggs.I have no problems collecting eggs

I have only had one clutch laid so far, but it seem that the female is not protective of her eggs. I am pretty sure Leos tend to find a spot with good conditions, lay and forget about it. I hope this helps!

My female gets very agitated if I try to move her eggs before she's done burying them (this takes a good half hour, as she digs them up and reburies them if she didn't like it the first time). After that, she couldn't care less.
