QUik Feeding Question

Well just to make sure if im doing everything right with my leopard gecko .
I've been feeding my leopard geckos on Sun, Wed and Fridays with about 12 crickets not bigger then their head. Im just worried if my leopard gecko is eating to much . Any suggestions could be great.

if its an adult 3 times a week is good. Hatchlings and juvies every day. My hatchlings eat 8 mealworms apiece.

12 crickets is fine, just if the tail is getting tooo skiny start feeding more

When is an adult an adult, sounds dumb even to me.. but I want to know when I should stop feeding daily.

well they are sexually mature between 6-9 months old. I have a male that I know for a fact is 10 months old and I feed him 3 times a week now. I bought him from a breeder so I know the hatch date.

i use mealworms in a dish, it is much eaier ( my leos can';t hunt to good), i would have to break there legs off so they can catch them, and if they get too far away my leos wouldnt go after it, short attention span i guess, ya, about 10 months is an adult

doesnt taking off the crickets do harm the crickets besides getting eating by a big hungry monster

hmm.. well i been feeding my leo every day.. today I found vomit from a meal worm.. so I'm kinda worried that I'm feeding to much.. and I can definetly tell he is a body. I can see those lovely boy bumps protruding.. so erm.. the question now like that guy said.. when do you go from every day to every other day?
Is there a legit length that a gecko will reach? hard to tell age when you get them from pet shops.. my gecko if his tail didn't fall off would be about 5 inches.

keep feeding avery day or so you could take a 1 day break every week maybe make sure to give calcium to help the tail grow back

Ok mines' hatch date was 8-1-07. He's just less than 9" long head to tip of tail. He is chunky, active and eats well. Is he an adult?
Plus how big do they get, he went from around 6" at purchase to his currnt size? How much bigger?

Okay Karl, watch the "guy" comments, hee hee. I happen to be one of many lady lizard lovers on this site. I have the same prob as you b/c I don't know exact age either due to pet store finds. Anyone have a magic tidbit for when to stop every day with no exact age?

well he threw up and probaly will never do it again cause he ate to much
