Hey everyone!
I bought a baby/juvenile gecko very recently. She is a tiny little thing! Well, the company I bought her from does overnight shipping. Oh my, the blood when I received her! Is it weird that I actually felt relieved that it was because she dropped her tail? I got to work right away and gave her a nice little bath, dabbing her tushy with a wet paper towel to clean her up. I can't blame the poor thing! So far two IRL people have told me that I should call and complain to the company but I just roll my eyes. I love her for her!

She's temporarily growing up in a 10 gallon tank until she's older for a 20 gallon. The morning after I received Khione, I dabbed some Neosporin (w/o pain killers) onto her lil spot. I did the same 24 hours later and was amused because she screamed at the paper towel. The wonderful thing about all this is that she is actually such a calm little gal. She loves to cuddle under my jacket and just kinda likes to hang out on your hand or look around on your shoulder. Oh and good lord does she eat like a pig. She's just as bad as my adult gecko! I have no idea how much to feed her, so I try to gauge it by the size of the bugs and how many, ye'know. Her fecal matter is just fine as well, which is relieving. I've been feeding her primarily crickets and she just had her first tiny dubia roach today.

So, is there anything else I could do to help her out? I haven't put any neosporin on her for two days, and today it looks like her "tail" is finally starting to look like it's gonna regenerate. It's closed up very nicely. :) I'm wondering if she'll need more baths, more treatment of some kind, something else I haven't thought of, I don't know. Other small things I've done for her is she has a small cap filled with calcium, I have a special cricket tank just for her that's mixed with half calcium, half cricket food... I make sure she's hanging out on the warm side as well because that seems to be preferred a lot: for them to stay warm.

Here's the only pic I have of her so far.

I would stop with the neosporin. If her tushy is closed up good, I would let nature take it's course and just still keep an eye on it. Seems like you've got it under control! I would feed her how ever much she will eat and you could keep an escape proof dish with mealworms in there for her.
