 Well Zari finally gave up around noon today. We placed her in her fave hide and buried her behind the apple tree that is blooming nicely out back. Placed a rock on the grave and set dandelions on the rock. Cried my eyes out! I didn't even have her 2 weeks and I cried like a baby.

I do feel better knowing she is not suffering anymore and that she willnever feel anymore pain. This only enhances my bad feelings toward anyone that gets pets only to end up gettting bored and neglecting them :(

I appreciate the responses. I only had her would have been 2 weeks today but she was so small when I got her I had a bad feeling from the beginning. I really didn't think she would last as long as she did so I tried not to get attached. SHe got better color and more active so my hopes increased for her until I saw her trying to push out what i thought was an egg and she went downhill fast from there. I am thinking I might have been able to save her had the previous owner not let the 60 gram male breed with her b4 I got them and she was only 22 grams. I am very angry with her. She wanted me to keep her updated on them but I don't think I will give her that satisfaction. If she gave a s*** she wouldn't have let them breed to begin with and had them seperated a long time ago. Housing Zari alone with a dom male for 2 years is what killed her without the owner attempting to do something dif. I seperated my 29 gal tank into two with stuff from home in like 5 minutes time so she cannot give me an excuse about not having a place to put her...sry bout the rant but I cried about 4 times yesterday thinking about how she must have suffered in the last 2 years and how I did get attached to her even tho i tried not to. Had she made it I believe she would have been an affectionate leo seeing as there was a lot of interaction with me. She didn't deserve it but is now in a better place and I am happy for that :)

Special Thanks to Jess for giving me some advice on her care and just listening to me talk about her in general. You are truely a patient person and will def make a great mom! :D
