R2?

What is an R2 ive heared it before but dont really know what it is. Im pretty sure that F2 has to do with generations, so F2 would be the 2nd generation (correct me if im wrong).

I believe its a line of bold stripes.

The R2 line of bold striped originated from Robin and Russ Struck (therefore the R2). The original R2 male passed away last month, but the female is still going strong after over 12 years. I have a clutch of eggs in the incubator from that R2 male and one of my R2 x GGG Bold Stripe crosses that I hope will hatch.
