Two years ago my landlord told me about some materials that I can use to do what ever I want. Well today I look at them and had the idea to make a rack for my geckos. It is more bigger for my needs. I can put 4 16qt container in each shelve (8 shelves in total). The containers have the lids for marking the space between shelves but eventually I will not use the lids.

That's coming along really nicely. What kind of materials are you using?

I think is plywood cover by stainless steel. The lanlord have a lot of pieces in the basement and since he told me if I needed I can use it, well I just use almost everything.

Thanks for all the comments.

Looks good. Why did you keep the lids? My favorite part of having a rack is not having to mess with lids when I feed.

So I actually kept the lids for measurement only. Since I didn't had any measurement tool I just used the containers with the lids then I put some wight above the wood to press down while I where holding it. After I finish I don't need to use the lids and the gap between the top of the containers and the shelves is around 1 cm.

1 cm is a huge gap, I would be worried about escapes. Adults may be ok, but hatchlings and juvies could easily squeeze out.
