Rack recommendation?

Hey guys, in the next few weeks I'm gonna pick up a new rack. I sold off my entire collection some years back while I got myself together, went back to school etc. At that time I had a rack from Boaphile Plastics. It was a great rack and I'm thinking of getting another one, but I wanted to see if there were other recommendations first.

Thanks,

Jeff

Animalplastics.com has some good ones. I prefer to build my own though. Saves a lot of money and you can build to house the exact number and type of tubs you want.

Hahha Jonathan. The DIY gene skipped me apparently. I cannot for the life of me fix, build, or assemble anything that requires more than a screwdriver unfortunately. I used to try but after setting 2 cars on fire you gotta learn your limits. =)

if you know how to use an electric drill then you can build one. Home depot can cut the wood. my hatchling racks hold 20 tubs and it cost me 130 to build including heat tape. But if you want to buy professional i would go with animal plastics economy racks.

i have some racks from reptiracks. they arent the quality that youll see in boaphile or animal plastics, but theyre relatively inexpensive and they work fine.

the maker has a ton of videos on youtube you can check out if you want to see them. he has at least a few videos of each type of rack he sells.

I have an Animal Plastic rack and a homemade rack and I honestly have to say that I like the Animal Plastic rack better. I had the home made rack specifically built to my specifications by a friend and it was hard enough to find the right size tubs let alone to get the heat tape properly situated and everything else. (Plus it did't cost much less.) If you don't mind paying a little more, and aren't very good at building anything like me, then an AP rack is definitely the way to go.

Which Boaphile rack did you use to have? I really like the look of these clear ones.

I used to have the 20 shoebox size rack back before he went to RhinoRaxx 2 or whatever he's selling now. It was rubbermaid though so the boxes were hazy. I do enjoy the polycarbonate ones and will more than likely go with those this time around.
