i used these racks for my baby and younger colubrids and smaller boas, just wondered if these will be okay for leopards of various sizes? the baby rack holds 4.5 qt @13.5"x8"x4" and has back heat on a thermostat, the one on the left is 28 qt @ 23"x16"x6" with 4" flexwatt belly heat on a thermostat. my questions are will the bigger size racks do for adults if i house them singly, or can i put a couple females in one tub and keep males seperate untill i am ready to breed. i know some people house more than one leopard togeather, but does this not cause stress, (like it does in snakes)? and would babies stress in such a large enclosure if they have enough hides? would they have a hard time finding food if i would "show" them where it is? i know they hide in the wild, but the wild is sure bigger than a 28qt tub......i dont think belly heat will be feasable without serious modification to my baby rack...unless i would buy heat cable, but i have not used this before. i built my bigger rack for belly heat, and was gonna use the cable when i built my baby rack, but then could not find any...do they still make the heat cable?
