Racks??

Anyone ever use any of thos plastic rack or something you can find at walmart or target? If so let me know how it is.

It wont work, simply bc there is not heat source for them to help properly digest there food.

well yea i know i would have to add the heat source. but say i got that and added some heat tape do you think it would wrok well??

well what if i went and bought a shelf can you put them in the tubs with lids on the as long as the are venilated. just put on shelves with heat tape

I tried to make one of those work...it would take alot of work. The tops are actually pretty open (escapees) and heat would be very hard to add to that.

It's not too hard to build a rack. There's tons of info on here on how to build racks and wire flex-watt...and you can even buy it pre-wired! lol...Wish we had though about that... But, what you can do is figure out the dimensions, there's tons of threads saying different dimensions, take the dimensions to Lowes, and they'll cut the melamine for you and all you have to do is put it together. It's very easy! Unless you get lazy like us and decide to just buy the next one you get... In which case, Vision Systems seem to have really nice stuff.

nah i could build one no problem my brother in law is great at measurments can probably even get me the wood for free but we will see what size tubs would you recomend

I use the Sterlite 1754, They are 15qts. They work great!!
