i currently have a patternless rainwater male of breeding age. this might be a stupid question, but do you guys have any suggestions on what i can pair him with to make some cool morphs, besides just getting more rainwaters?

To be honest I think that unless he is a het for something like eclipse you are at least 2 generations away from anything but rainwaters. That being said You could get something like a rainwater enigma and then the first year you would get some more rainwater enigmas. Most other things would take another generation to play out.

you could introduce firewater genes, red stripe genes, bold stripe genes, etc. but if you are wanting to say produce typhoons, you would need to introduce the eclipse gene into that bloodline. say pair it with an eclipse het rainwater which would make the offspring poss het typhoon. or even pair it up with a super snow rainwater to produce rainwater albino snows. it just depends on what you want to end up producing. you don't want to breed him with any of the other two albino strains though, so anything you produce will be rainwater or het rainwater

can someone explain more in detail about the eclipsed eyes, all of the information im pulling is telling me that it means the eyes are completely covered, but by what? or is it just the flaps on top of the eyes are more protruding than normal?

no, eclipse eyes can be snake eyes, solid black, red, even barely have any black in them. you are also looking for white on the nose instead of the geckos regular color. it also helps to know the genetic pairing of the parents that produced your gecko. but not all geckos with solid black eyes are eclipse either. some hatchlings are born with what look like eclipse eyes, and they turn normal with age. also, some blizzards eyes can mimic the eclipse gene while carrying none of the genetics. super snows also have solid black eyes, but without the white nose, they aren't eclipse.
