Can anyone tell me the differences between a raptor and a mack raptor. I dont mean genetically i know what they are. I have recently purchased a raptor and the owner has just emailed me and said it may be a mack raptor because of its parents. Mack raptor x mack raptor. He has no hatchling pics so i was wondering if there are any subtle differences that i could maybe look out for. Im going to be breeding her once shes big enough and ill find out for sure then but would like to have a bit of a idea as its driving me mad. lol

Generally, snow raptors have some patterning which resembles a snow, but to be sure, test breeding it would be the only way to be sure :)

raptors are supposed to be patternless though..

No RAPTORS are supposed to have a patternless stripe. Completely different to the murphy patternless gene for example.

Yeh ive been looking at the pattern and it does resemble a snowish like pattern and it also has some white blotching on the head. So im gonna presume for now its a mack raptor and pair it accordingly. Will be a waste of time if its not a snow though. Thanks guys.

Depending on what genes are involved, though by popular belief, raptors are technically supposed to be patternless, but not all of them are and a good number show a reasonable amount of patterning :)

Not sure exactly. Shes still only young so wont be ready to either the end of this upcoming season or the next one. She is gonna be used in my group to produce dreamsickles and super novas. So she wont be completely useless if she aint a snow but it would certainly help matters if she was.
