Im sure people are, but I dont know who is. I would hope that it would be someone like Dan the fireman, or Jeremy Letkey. They have the brightest orange RW albinos ive seen, and it would only be fair if the first RW eclipses were as bright and beautiful as the first Tremper and Bell eclipses IMO. Basically I hope that the first ones are not just rushed into production using a duller/non-tang RW albino resulting in red eyed pale albinos.

I did breed a male RRS to an Eclipse female. She only laid 5 eggs, all have gone bad and I believe that she is done for this season. :(

I may try to get a few more adult Eclipse females in Daytona.

Jeremy, what about the funky eyed RW`s that both you and Dan have? I think that actually may be the RW "Eclipse", or "Snake Eyed" version, anyways.

I am also thinking, you are well on your way to making them otherwise. You did breed Reverse Stripes, to Raining Red Stripes afterall. Those crosses should be the only "hets" you need. Never know though, Leopard Gecko genetics are strange. :freak:

The funky eyed bred back the the father produced two with normal eyes so far. lol

I am working on it from all angles. So far I only have one Reverse stripe that is a het RW. I have a bunch of animals form reverse stripe x RW though. That group will not be ready to go for a few more months.

I was just looking at her yesterday. I don't think it's snake-eye at all. The shape of the pupil is triangle, not like any snake-eyes I've ever seen ... and I've seen some funky ones. That girl wins the prize for comical looks!:main_thumbsup:

Sounds good, Jer.

Shanti, I have seen her too, I know it looks a little different, but what is to say that a RW version would be the same.

Good luck Jeremy! If they look anything like your raining red stripes then the RW albino eclipses wont be left out.
