Rave for a guy in the big pet store

I had my 5 year old in one of the chain stores this weekend. He was picking out a present for his normal who turns 1 on Tuesday. Yup, treat 'im like a king!

Anywho...a mom & her young son were there in the reptile section. They weren't sure if they were going snake or lizard. The guy helping them was phenominal. He was very specific about care. Steered them away from high maintenance or evil tempered lizards. Highly recommended leos & gave proper information etc.

This is just to say, sometimes there are good guys in the big stores too.

Thats great! I know the big store that I got my first leo from at least seems to keep their leos in a good habitat, they had them on repti carpet, rather than sand like a lot of people have had experience seeing, and they had a humid hide and other hides, except it seemed way too humid in there. There was condensation on the glass, and of course there was no UTH because it was impossible to use one in that setup, so they had an above light.

I've never asked for help at that store, but I'd have to guess that they would be somewhat correct on some things, just it seems most of the people in that store are so young and don't care much about what's going on.

But it's good that there are some good people and helpful people out there that are correct !

That store probably has many satisfied and happy customers along with healthy pets because of this person
