Jacy Colen (posts here under the name of Jacy) and her mom Connie, have once again allowed me to take a badly needed vacation by caring for all the Golden Gate Geckos while I'm gone! Thank you soooooo much Jacy!!!

My husband and I are taking our grandkids and mother-in-law up to Huntington Lake in the Sierras this coming week. We'll be camping at the Rancheria campground, and will have lots of fun with the jet ski and doing some fishing, and eating s'mores around the campfire! WHOOT!

So, the Mean Old Gecko Lady won't be around for the next week... so everyone needs to behave! :main_evilgrin:

Thanks!!! I haven't left my gecko room since April 1007. I truly need to get away with my family and not think about anything but how much I love my family and do some much needed R & R. It will take me a day or two to 'unwind', but I have 2 books to read while laying around in the Sierras, and lot's of fun on the lake.

As much as I love my geckos, I need a break. This has been a tough season...

Thank you sooooo much Jacy and Connie for stepping in and helping! I am so very blessed to have such wonderful friends in the gecko community. Even a mean old gecko lady has a life besides geckos...

LOL!!! The last time we camped at Huntington Lake, a bear destroyed my brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee. It peeled the door off like a sardine can, ripped out the back seat, broke out the windows, and ate a box of PayDay candy bars in the back. They now have those bear-proof food storage lockers, and I was told they haven't seen a bear there in over 3 years. We'll see....
