Ive googled this question question already but don't really have a peace of mind of the answers I've read. Do you really need to introduce/re-mate the male to the female every after the 3rd clutch?? Coz base on my 2 female geckos. They are aggressive to males when the clutches starts even after the 3rd clutch. Ive read on Ron Trempers book about remating after the 3rd clutch, but female geckos hold the sperm for months right? So whats the point of remating the male to the female?? Is it worth the risk/stress it cost to the female?? Do breeders introduce their males to the females too every after the 3rd or 4th clutch?? (knowing they got tons of pairs during breeding season).

I do it, just to make sure the eggs are fertile. If the female is acting aggressive though I would remove the male and try another day. Because usually when the are ready the wont fight the male off.

I don't think reintroduction is always necessary but I found with some of my first year females they laid 2-4 fertile clutches and stopped or started to lay infertile eggs. They acted aggressively toward the male every time I tried to reintroduce them and it was close to the end of the breeding season after their final clutches so I just assumed they were done and gave them a vacation until this year. Not sure if a year of experience will help them be more efficient or not.
