About Leo:
Male, got him from a breeder, (with several other babies), I've had him about 3 months. He appeared to be a hatchling.

Health History:
I handle him off and on, he is very tame. He is not acting any differently. He did lose the tip of his tail about a month and a half ago, to another hatchling. I removed him to his own enclosure, and has been housed alone ever since. It healed wonderfully within 2 weeks cant even tell it ever happened. His fecals look normal brownish black with white urrate. They are just very small. He went potty yesterday, and B4 this one as well. The problem is his belly looks very bloated, there are no tale tell dark spots indicating impaction. He has been like this almost 2 weeks now. I removed him from his regular enclosure and put him in a large cricket keeper with a small heat mat, and put that in my bathroom, so I could monitor him more closley. His belly feels really puffy as if he is full of gas.

Housing:
His normal enclosure is a small plastic tote (he is still to little for a larger enclosure, want him to be able to find his food). He is kept on paper towles, and has one hide. I have an entire room set up for my geckos, & heat the entire room to 86 with a self regulating heater. I also have thermometers in the room. He has no cage mates. I have removed him to the other enclosure and area as I stated earlier since I noticed this issue.

Diet:
He was feeding on small mealworms, since he is not quite fast enough for crickets plus he shows no interest in them for now. His food was left in a dish, I would check it daily to make sure he was eating. He would eat a couple of worms every day or everyother day. The worms are gut loaded on fresh veggies, usually carrots. They are dusted with Zoomed Repticalcium with D3.

Hopefully this will help.

That doesn't look good at all to me. He looks very underweight and that is some pretty serious bloating. You should really get into contact with both a vet and the breeder you bought him from. He may have a heavy parasite load, or be impacted. Not all geckos present the same symptoms when impacted. But that would be a very serious impaction if that is what it is. I say parasites possibly because parasites can cause that very undernourished look even though they are still eating, and some species can cause abdominal bloating. Make sure you keep him away from all other geckos and wash your hands between working in his enclosure and others'.

I agree with what Neon says and will second that a vet is needed to figure out what is going on. It could also be some sort of deformity that is getting worse over time. Hard to say without someone who really knows reptiles taking a look at him and doing a few tests to find out what's going on inside. Best of luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for the info,I had already made the appt. for the vet goes on Fri. Was just lookin for some insight, cause we do not have reptile vets where I live, just exotic vets. So can help them along with a diagnosis. I also think its some type of parasite or bacteria. Im hopin for the best. thanks
