we all see the awesome images that our members capture of their animals, but rarely see what REALLY goes on. i figured i would share a few pics that normally get deleted. and yes, that's a paper plate :main_thumbsup:

A couple of hints.....I have found that by giving them something more familiar to stand on they tend to be a little more still. I use some slate rock for my photos. I can email you a picture of my set up if you would like

I have a few that will just pose for me, but most of mine are like that. They just want to run around.

that's funny shawn.... I use a piece of heat tape under a piece of stone slate, it helps with most, but those few still have to bolt.... we've all got them.:main_thumbsup:

You think leos are hard to photograph, you should try photographing rabbits in show pose. It's like a 2 second opportunity then bam... gone... a lot of blurry motion shots. Outta 10 pix you're lucky if 2 turn out.

You're right... from what I hear rabbit is one of the best, most helthy meat sources a person can eat. Raising show rabbits is NOT a sport for the faint of heart.
