I am on Craigslist, randomly scrolling around when I come across a listing for a gecko. I am fascinated to I go closer to read the thing and then I see the pictures...This gecko is HORRIBLY overweight, being housed on sand, no proper hides, extremely high temps, extremely bright light.. I just feel really bad for the dude.

I have been prepared to house another gecko for quite some time now and I have a completed letter in my Gmail draft's box. Should I send it or not?

I am prepared to buy him for a top price of $40 dollars as the gecko doesn't look like he is worth much more then that.

The gecko probably isn't so much overweight as it is full of sand from the sound of the husbandry.

I wouldn't take the gecko in unless you're willing to deal with getting rid of its impaction and the possibility it might not make it. Might also have lots of stuck shed and skin problems.

Can you post a picture on here. It is possible that the little guy ate alot of sand. I wouldnt pay 40 for a sick looking gecko
