Recording Data To answer many questions. What data would you like?

Hello, I am in the process of recording daily data and i was wondering what kind of data everyone would like to know.
My goal is to be able to provide between a year two 3 years of data thus giving good averages for: how often leopard geckos eat, how often they shed, go the bathroom, how often/ if all their weight changes, etc. I currently have one male mack snow, and a female poss. super snow blizzard.
Let me know what stats and info you would like.
So far I:

Feed them individually and record how much they eat, record when they shed, weight them every day after feeding, record how often they go the bathroom, and once breeding starts record data along with that.

What other data should i record? thanks
-Angie

Well 2 geckos isnt that much to record data on(ive been doing my 20 since i got them) But another thing is the color change. I always take a pic of them after shed. Tons of pics but its neat seeing that.

I like recording clutch dates and numerous other breeding stats and average it out.

I know two geckos doesn't provide a good average for the species but as a person just starting breeding I want to start out right. Besides I am willing to share my data since i cant find it online.
I am going to record all data i can from future geckos too. This post was directed mainly to newer leo owners. Thanks for the info though.

I don't think you need to weigh them everyday. Once a week will do for record keeping.

I keep record of their feeding schedule: what and how much they ate, when they've shed, and weigh them twice a month.

I have been doing something similar with mine, but just so I know if she is not feeling well. One thing I would mention though is you may want to weigh the geckos before feeding so that whatever food they ate doesn't throw off the weight. I realized that when I weighed my gecko before eating and thought she lost weight, then figured out it was because she hadn't eaten yet. Just an idea. You may also want to jot down how many hours it usually takes to shed their skin. Taking pictures is a good idea too, just make sure you use the exact same lighting in each picture so you can accurately see the difference (I take pictures of mine in my bathroom because there is no windows so the lighting is always the same).

Cool idea though. I'm glad I am not the only one with this massive gecko record book :D

Right now I use a Google docs spread sheet and am working on a web based program to figure things out. Once I think it is good enough I will open it up to you guys for testing if you like. It will keep your data private or you can share. I only have 4 animals so the spreadsheet isn't bad but once there are more a more robust program will make it easier.

You can also upload multiple photos and create a time line for customers. Would there be anything else you'd want in a program like that?
