Red Giant Mealworms?

The shop i get my feeders from sells these red giant mealies, anyone have any input on them? They're just like the other giants but are very red..what causes this? Should i be using giants anyways? or just stick to reg mealies and supers?

I've never heard of red ones before, but I have heard that giant mealworms are given growth hormones which is contraversial. I don't have much other knowledge on it though and I've never used them.

I am not sure exactly what the Red Giants are about, but I have been using Giant meal worms for the last 3 years, with absolutely no problems. I know Sunshine meal worms sells them...I would suggest emailing them with any questions, reserves you have about the Red Giants.
