Red speckles?

I've read alot and seen examples of cresties with a peppering of black speckles, but I haven't seen much on red speckling. The gecko in mention is usually a dark cream color and has a few black speckles but most of the specs are reddish in color. It is just the pigment and not an injury of some sort as I first thought. I don't have a photo as the gecko isn't mine. Is there a name for the speckling? How common is it? This is the first one Ive seen develop that particular color.

isnt called a dalmatian

It shows up sometimes with dalmations, it's less common than the black spots but there are quite a few around.

Red and black speckling is awesome on cresties. I'd love to have a dalmation with both color spots.

Thanks, when he fires up red you can hardly see the red spots. LOL!
