The marigolds in those planters look king of tacky.. but I had to put them in that so if they need extra sun I can move them.

You can just keep them outside like that? It never gets too cold?

I bring them in during winter months, or when it is below 65.

Are they friendly? handleable? What do you feed them, how much do they eat?

I'm very interested. I wasn't a big fan of turtles until I took in my Red Ear Slider, Tess, and now I'm really starting to like them a whole lot!

I keep quite a few tortoises. All of mine are friendly (to me- not always to other tortoises) and enjoy being petted or having their heads scratched. They associate me with food and come running upon my arrival, too, or watch me move about their room.
