Redness on Tail after Shed

Okay, I took Kiya out a little while ago and she must have shed sometime between yesterday and a half hour ago. She seems to have gotten most of it, other then her face which she always has trouble with. I will help her with that later.. however, I noticed that her tail is red on the sides. I think she might have peeled off her shed before it was ready to come off there. Is there anything I should do? Or should I just leave it alone?

This same thing happened to one of my girls a few weeks ago. The skin appeared red and raw so I put some regular neosporin on it because I didnt want it to get infected or anything. It cleared up in a few days after neosporin was applied. The reason I think this happened was because the humidity was too low at the time she shed.
