I have two geckos, housed in two different tanks but similar set ups in each tank. One kicks it in her humid hide pretty often. The other one I NEVER see in her humid hide. It's an opaque tupperware container with a door cut in it and repti moss inside it. I've swapped out the moss and used paper towels to see if she preferred that but no luck. She's about to shed and I'm worried she will end up with stuck shed because of not digging the humidity. Any idea's on different types of hides I can use for the humid hide to entice her to use it? Should I throw a towel over the majority of the top of the tank and put a big bowl of water in there to try and up the overall humidity in the entire tank? Or just leave her be?

My gecko Cleo hates her humid hide. I normally take all other hides out of her tank except her humid one to make her use it or if your really that worried give her a bath in your sink. Cleo doesn't kind baths all to much it if do it right. Keep it around 70 F and make sure it only covers their legs. Put your hand in there with her so if she wants to get out she can. And if she goes in your hand just drizzle some water on her back.
Hope this helps!
