This was my first tail loss and I was worried it'd grow back funny since it was almost a full tail break...

Well from the looks of this pic I took today he'll be just fine...

I couldn't be happier!

I honestly thought I was going to cry when I lost my first tail! His tail grew back quite nicely too...thank god! Glad to see that the tail didn't grow back as a bulbous nub as so do.

Paul, I know what you mean... Earlier this season I had a little Blizzard start to autotomize at the tail base... She stopped 1/4 of the way and for at least a week I was so shook up because I thought she'd drop it... Thankfully she never did and it healed up to where you can barely tell it happened... In this guy's case he lost it while he was MIA... So there's was nothing to stress about since it was gone already... Had I not experienced the near loss earlier this year it would have been a different story...
