reintroducing the male?

One of my females just layed her 2nd clutch today one of the eggs were funny shaped so probably infertile(its in the icubator just in case) so would it be okay to put the male back in there even though she layed eggs today?

No, I would not. I'd give her a little time to get over the ordeal of laying - rest, get some food and calcium into her, etc. I wouldn't stress her out with a pestering male on top of everything too.

I would probably try to time it right in the middle of making the next clutch...maybe in 7 to 18 days or so?

I usually reintroduce 3-5 days after laying when I can see ovulates that are about 1/2 inch forming again. If she is aggressive in any way I'd just take her out and try again in 2-3 days. There's a chance she won't let him near her at all until after another clutch or two but sometimes they are ready. Good luck!

Personally, at the moment i remove a clutch from the boxe to put in bator, i put the male with the female in an empty boxe just for 3 mins, my males are very active breeders and they mate in the next few seconds, then i put the female back alone in it's rack and then within the next 3-5 days, i reintroduce the male with her for few days until the male have to go to another female or if it's a male i use for a single girl, i just simply until put him back alone to let the female make her gestation alone too and in calm...

I don't know a lot of humans that would want sex within 12 hours of laboring.... I can't imagine that reptiles are physically ready for "interaction" down there on the same day that they pushed those big eggs out of their little vents. I'm not a vet and this is my first season.....just seems like a good idea to wait atleast a few days. The first mating is supposed to keep them fertile for a few clutches anyway....the 2nd mating is just to "top off" their "fluids" so they don't run out in the middle of the season, right?

I usually give mine at least 24 hours to recover from the strain of laying but if she's willing I don't see any issue in putting her with the male right after. I believe there is a learning curve to storing the sperm so I reintroduce after the first clutch with my first time breeders. It's not common but I've had a few lay infertile second or third clutches if I don't. Most of my males are quick breeders too so the female only has to deal with their antics for 3-5 minutes.

I don't believe leos are one but ovulation in some species is triggered by giving birth so they do get right back into action. Kinda disturbing but it happens

Yes i agree, but same time i'm not in the room h24 to take the eggs right after they get laid, it's at least 12-24h later when i take them and it's just a short time single pairing that's take 2-3 mins and under control, the male is not harassing the female as if they were together all day and by the way, a female that wont breed know how to show it by different ways, so in those case the female just go back alone in it's home and the mating is done later.
