Repashy smell?

I just recently bought some Repashy Leopard Gecko Calcium Plus to try out a new supplementation product. When I opened it, naturally, I sniffed it. It has a strong, almost sweet, smell. Anyone who is familiar with this brand of calcium, is it supposed to smell like this? I don't want to give my geckos something that is expired or bad or something. Thank you for reading this.

yeah it has an almost fruity smell. every bag i've ever had smelled exactly the same.

bananas or something. the leos seem to lick a lot more with the rapashy than with other supplements. i think they like the taste. might help improve feeding response in some animals too.
