Reptile Carpet Color Bleed

Hello all!

Lately I have started to notice a very slight (watercolor like) brown/tan hue appear on my Super Snow's underside tail and lower belly/vent area. It honestly just looks cosmetic and nothing health related, but I can't figure out what is causing it. Could it be possibly that the tan reptile carpet he is stored on is rubbing off onto him somehow because that is honestly what it looks like, but I have never heard of such thing happening. All temps. behavior and husbandry are normal so that is also why I feel like the carpet could be the culprit, but it just seems like such a silly and impossible answer. Has anyone ever heard of the reptile carpet color tinting a gecko's skin?:huh2:

I attached a picture, but depending on the light source it can be hard to see the tint when compared to the naked eye. You should be able to see it toward the base of the tail, by the vent, then the lower stomach has it as well.

I have never seen any carpet bleed color but it could be a possibility.

In all practicality though I don't see it being that though. I just hope it's nothing medical and won't compound over time if I dismiss is as something cosmetic and rare such as a carpet bleed. He does seem to be not all that interested in food, but that could very likely be just a funk, esp. with these odd cold fluctuations we have gotten in FL recently. This also wouldn't be the first time that he goes a short period in a "funk". Maybe some others can provide some input to put my paranoid self at ease?
