Hey folks! I've been a long-time animal lover of all sorts--I rehabilitate feral and orphaned cats/kittens, I've worked with betta and cichlid breeding, I've even worked in veterinary medicine/pet care for the last 6 years..but I've just discovered my gecko-obsession.

I currently have two very young guys, one Blazing Blizzard leopard gecko, Wendigo, and one gargoyle, Styx. The garg has a lovely dark brown reticulated pattern with small orange spots. He's eating CGD pretty ravenously, and Wendigo is on small gutloaded crickets. I also have two snakes nearing 10 months of age: a normal ball python, Briar, and a snow corn snake, Larkspur. Besides my reptiles, I have six sweet rescue cats (one that I bottle-fed and raised from 2 weeks of age)..and miscellaneous fish from my planted tank days, as well as an African Dwarf frog.

In the next year or so, I plan to delve into breeding Cresteds (after I move and set up my own reptile room)..and next on my wishlist is an R. leachianus. I've become a bit of a Rhac fanatic! :main_laugh: That's it for now. <3

Welcome to the forum... if you're a leechie lover you need to check out Monster Geckos web page in the gallery above. There's an amazing green on his first page that is just to die for. Sounds like you keep pretty busy. In a down moment you'll need to post pix of your crew :)

Thanks both!

Dog Shrink: YES. I've already bookmarked it, and drooled several times, so when I move..a leachie or a blue-tongue skink is in my future. :p They're just too fascinating..and I have many an empty tank from the cichlid days..a 55G, a 75G..so many ideas!

Sooo many possibilities too :) BTS and leechies worlds apart tho... for me it was between bts and leos. I didn't think I was ready to handle the size of a bts yet tho. I like interactive lizards so I don't kow how well a leechie would love that.
